Description 

Optimal Defense Solutions, LLC is seeking an energetic and highly motivated candidate to perform complete janitorial services for at the VA Honolulu Vet Center. Candidate must have experience working with, and around fully occupied office spaces. Services shall be performed in a manner that shall maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:

• Vacuuming floors and fabric furniture
• Emptying trash cans, recycle bins, and shedder
• Taking waste to designated area
• Cleaning and resupplying restrooms
• Restocking all paper products
• Dusting blinds, light fixtures, wall fixtures, tops of doors and window frames, corners and baseboards, windowsills, uncluttered tabletops, ceiling vents and uncluttered file cabinets
• Spot cleaning doors, floor frames, light switches, and walls

Requirements

• Must have own transportation and valid driver's license
• Must pass a background check
• Must have good interpersonal skills, able to interact with staff and guests
• Commercial cleaning experience a plus
• Must be able to speak fluent English

Cleaning Schedule: 

Candidate shall perform responsibilities during the following days and times, to exclude federal holidays:

• Tuesdays, 7am HST 
• Thursdays, 2 pm HST 
• Fridays, 2 pm HST

Background Check:

Candidate must consent to a back screening prior to commencing work.
